Shafeek is a proactive, results-driven, and seasoned leader and lawyer with over 20 years of legal experience. He works with clients on estate planning, business formation, partnerships, and drafting various legal documents. In addition, Shafeek serves as a counselor and advises healthcare organizations on a variety of healthcare compliance, operation, and management matters.
Upon graduating law school, Shafeek practiced law with one of the largest firms in Washington, D.C. Later, he opened his own law office in Fairfax, Virginia.
In 2008, Shafeek joined the U.S. civilian surge in Afghanistan and served as a senior legal advisor and program manager on various U.S. efforts to fight terrorism, money laundering, and legal reform efforts in Afghanistan. Upon returning home, Shafeek returned to legal practice to serve the Northern Virginia community again, equipped with a much greater appreciation for life, liberty, and the American Dream.
Shafeek received his Bachelor of Science degree from Post University in Waterbury, Connecticut, and a Juris Doctor cum laude from Touro College—Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Central Islip, New York.
He is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
